Position Summary

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing solutions that meet customer needs. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships, achieving sales targets, and promoting the organization's products and services within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customer accounts.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate customer contact records and regularly connect with customers.
  • Utilize company-provided technology and CRM systems to effectively manage territory activities, opportunities, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, demonstrations, and product recommendations.
  • Generate proposals, quotations, bids, and all required sales documentation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales activity and prospect reports.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of document management solutions, hardware, software, and related services.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, operations, and administrative teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings.
  • Investigate and analyze lost sales opportunities and customer attrition.Assist with the preparation of bids and proposals for large or strategic accounts.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Outside sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
