Job description

Part Time Staff Member

Risher Amenity Management (Memorial City Club) is looking for a part time staff member to work in a corporate luxury fitness facility located in the Memorial City area. The facility includes an array of fitness equipment offerings, virtual group fitness, and fully-stocked locker rooms with an array of amenities. The primary duties will include:

  • Greet all patrons when they enter the facility
  • Operate, oversee, and manage daily attendance via computer and attendance software
  • Provide customer service to patrons with a positive, helpful attitude, and energetic personality
  • Keep the facility clean and organized at all times
  • Maintain and oversee the towels and the many amenities in locker rooms (e.g. stock towels, deodorant, shower soap/shampoo, etc.)
  • Process membership paperwork and take necessary payments
  • Help patrons out in any way possible and provide an enjoyable fitness atmosphere
  • Complete any additional duties as assigned

Working hours can fall anywhere between the hours of operation. The starting pay is $11.00 per hour. Black and assigned appropriate fitness attire required.

Applicant Requirements (education, skills, licenses, etc.)

  • 1+ years of work experience in a customer service environment
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and over the phone
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-groomed and professional fitness appearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Personal Training/Strength & Conditioning Certificate (or interest in attaining if interested in personal training)
  • Ability to lift/handle at least 50 lbs. without assistance
