Job Summary/Basic Function
The College of Business is looking for a graduate student to help staff the COB Help Desk for the academic year. The College of Business Help Desk is a resource for students who have questions about the business program in general, or may need help with their business, economics/finance, and/or accounting courses. The Help Desk also assists with COB and faculty projects such as conducting surveys, data entry and other tasks. The position starts in August of the current school year.
The position comes with a 6 credit hour tuition waiver (in-state rate) and the pay rate for upcoming year has not yet been determined, but will be at least $13/hour up to 20 hours a week. You must be available for 15-20 hours a week between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The Help Desk is located in White Hall on Shepherd's main campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants may be enrolled in any SU graduate program and will be selected on the basis of prior accounting/business/economics/finance coursework and GPA. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
