Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on company-owned and leased heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems
  • Repair, replace, clean, and lubricate vehicle and equipment parts as needed
  • Examine and repair hydraulic components for leaks, ruptured hoses, or worn gaskets
  • Travel to job sites to perform on-site repairs as necessary
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Rebuild or replace engines, repair hydraulic fluid pumps, and address electrical problems
  • Work in various environments, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures
  • Accurately complete repair orders and maintain electronic logs
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and brake systems
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment parts, performance requirements, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, welding, and flame cutting equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving habits
