Facility Maintenance Associate

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift

Heather Gardens Association – Aurora, Colorado

Heather Gardens Association is seeking a dependable, motivated Facility Maintenance Associate to join our Maintenance team. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, learning new skills, and taking pride in maintaining beautiful facilities, we'd love to meet you.


This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with a consistent daytime schedule of approximately 6:00/6:30 a.m. to 2:30/3:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

You'll perform a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks throughout our community, including:

  • General building repairs
  • Carpentry, painting, patching and caulking
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Minor electrical repairs
  • Door, lock and window repairs
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Assisting with HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Completing work orders
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Supporting special maintenance projects

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Building maintenance experience preferred (0-2+ years)
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Must provide basic hand tools
