Warm Hearth at Home is seeking compassionateand dependable Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our caring team. We providehigh-quality, person-centered care that helps older adults and individuals withdisabilities remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. The purpose ofthis position is to provide personal care services in support of the client'shealth and safety in their home under the direction of a registered nurseresponsible for the supervision of personal care services.

Location: Blacksburg, Christiansburg, VA andsurrounding New River Valley areas
PRN, Part-time, and Full-time shiftsavailable
Requirements:
  • Preferred educational background is a high school diploma or GED
  • Current PCA, CNA, or equivalent certification preferred (training opportunities may be available)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional
  • Ability to pass background check

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Support mobility and transfers safely
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
  • Provide care to clients following state and federal regulations, policies and procedures
  • Report client's needs and concerns to the nurse manager
  • Must be able to complete physical tasks such as walking and standing for periods of time, reaching, carrying, pushing, and pulling
