JOB DESCRIPTION

The Implementation Consultant for the Gong product line within Abstrakt’s RevOps Cloud Solutions division is responsible for leading client implementations of Gong software and services. This role ensures timely delivery, client satisfaction, and expert consultation throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects. The Implementation Consultant manages project timelines, client communication, and execution of Gong Essential/Quickstart projects while progressively gaining expertise in Gong Forecast and Engage. Over time, this role is designed to transition into the RevOps Consultant position.

This role requires strong client-facing communication skills, project management ability, and product knowledge. A typical day includes 4–5 client meetings, offline deep work, and structured self-led training, with a target of 6.5 billable hours per day. Billable activities include client calls, emails, deliverable creation, and internal collaboration.

OB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage Gong Essential/Quickstart implementation projects from kickoff to completion.
  • Hold scheduled client meetings to ensure timely execution of milestones and action items.
  • Track and maintain project timelines, consulting clients on Gong best practices throughout.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Consultant/Technical Architect to address technical needs and product gaps.
  • Serve as Engagement Manager on select projects to oversee delivery and communication flow.
  • Develop expertise in Gong Forecast and Gong Engage after first 90–180 days in role.
  • Transition into the RevOps Consultant role upon proficiency in all three Gong business lines.
  • Ensure 6.5 daily billable hours through a combination of meetings, deliverables, and consulting.
  • Deliver high-quality communication and presentations aligned to client goals and project scope.
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources to support client outcomes as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive working knowledge of Gong and its features or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional client-facing presence.
  • Proven project management and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with creativity and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfort working independently to manage a structured calendar and workload expectations.
  • Ability to maintain 6.5 billable hours/day through meetings, emails, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS or RevOps consulting environments preferred.

 PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience with Gong software implementations or usage in a client-facing role.
  • Experience as an Engagement Manager or similar project delivery position.
  • Consulting background in Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, or CRM ecosystems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
