Job description

Salary: $135,000 - $175,000

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and contract compliance.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, field staff, and subcontractors, ensuring strong coordination and clear communication across all phases of the project.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans
  • Interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance
  • Assist with the preparation of coordinated scopes of work to eliminate trade gaps and overlaps
  • Manage procurement, subcontractors, and change orders
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Lead project meetings with owners, consultants, and trade partners
  • Provide daily site presence to ensure safety, quality, and progress
  • Manage project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and final billing
  • Create subcontractor SOVs, review and approve subcontractor billings.
  • Create and manage owner billing process.
  • Oversee and partner with all field staff including Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience (commercial, institutional, healthcare or public works preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
