Position Summary

The Healthcare Operations & Project Analyst supports organizational performance by coordinating operational workflows, analyzing key data, and assisting in the planning and execution of projects across clinical and administrative departments. This role strengthens day-to-day operations while driving process improvement, compliance readiness, and strategic initiatives that enhance quality of care, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.

The position serves as a central resource for reporting, project coordination, cross-department communication, and operational problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret operational, clinical, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and performance summaries for leadership and regulatory readiness

Support census tracking, staffing analysis, labor cost monitoring, and quality metrics

Conduct root-cause analysis on operational issues and recommend corrective actions

Business Operations Coordination

Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow across nursing, HR, admissions, therapy, and administrative teams

Maintain operational records, logs, and compliance documentation (e.g., audits, training, licensure tracking)

Assist with onboarding coordination, training schedules, and communication of policy updates

Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative departments to ensure timely information flow

Project Coordination

Support planning, scheduling, and execution of operational and clinical improvement projects

Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; prepare status updates for leadership

Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks

Assist with risk tracking, issue escalation, and change management activities

Coordinate resources, vendor communication, and procurement needs for project initiatives

Process Improvement & Compliance Support

Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

Assist with survey readiness activities, internal audits, and corrective action plans

Support implementation of new systems, technology, and operational processes

Ensure documentation standards, SOPs, and policies remain current and aligned with healthcare regulations



Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations, or related field preferred

Experience in healthcare operations, project coordination, business analysis, or administrative leadership support

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-coordination abilities
