The Change Management Partner - Remote will play a key role in supporting key transformational change initiatives across the organization. This role will collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure effective planning, execution and sustainment of change management plans that support the organization's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate is a flexible and creative change management practitioner with a proven track record of managing complex transformations and fostering a positive change culture.

  • Independently develop and implement comprehensive change management plans for assigned initiatives, applying ADKAR-based methodology from discovery through sustainment.
  • Assess the complexity, scope, and stakeholder landscape of each initiative to calibrate the appropriate level and type of change support required.
  • Identify adoption risks and resistance patterns early and develop proactive mitigation strategies that integrate with the project plan.
  • Engage senior stakeholders and business leaders on change impact, readiness, and reinforcement expectations — adapting approach and message to audience.
  • Develop and execute communication plans that address the needs of impacted employees at all levels, from front-line staff to functional leadership.
  • Partner with EPMO project managers and HDT leads to ensure change management milestones are embedded in project governance and delivery timelines.
  • Lead impact and readiness assessments for assigned initiatives; synthesize findings into actionable plans and present risk recommendations to project governance.
  • Monitor adoption indicators throughout the initiative lifecycle and adjust the change approach dynamically as conditions evolve.
  • Ensure adoption risks are surfaced in governance forums prior to go-live; maintain visibility of readiness status with EPMO and business owners.
  • Develop and deliver role-based training for assigned initiatives; partner with L&D on content development and delivery logistics as appropriate.
  • Identify learning gaps and recommend training interventions that address knowledge and ability barriers to adoption.
  • Partner with business leaders and sponsors to identify and embed reinforcement mechanisms that sustain change beyond go-live.
  • Conduct post-go-live monitoring and provide structured handoff to business owners with documented sustainability plans.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Prosci certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management or a closely related field, with demonstrated success leading change on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working within a project governance or EPMO-governed delivery environment preferred.
  • Healthcare or similarly regulated industry experience a plus.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

  • Complete knowledge and full understanding of change management principles, ADKAR framework, and their application across a range of initiative types and organizational contexts.
  • Ability to assess unusual circumstances, adapt methodology creatively, and suggest variations in approach when standard practice is insufficient.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; ability to work effectively with senior leaders and across functional boundaries.
  • Enhances relationships and networks with senior stakeholders not always familiar with change management; often advises others on difficult matters.
  • Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.
  • Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.
  • Foster open collaboration and constructive dialogue with everyone around you.
  • Continuously innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.
  • Focus on superior outcomes, and calibrate work processes for outstanding results.
