What is a healthcare assistant?

Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) are trained professionals who support nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff in providing care to patients. Their duties typically include helping patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and eating, as well as taking vital signs, making beds, and maintaining a clean environment.
