Job description

Tenure-track Associate Professor of Health Informatics in the School of Public Health to engage in interdisciplinary innovative work, collaborating with faculty from public health, computer science, engineering, business, and related fields to advance healthcare informatics and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in Healthcare Management, Health Policy, Public Health, Health Leadership, Health Informatics, or in a closely related field and experience commensurate with the academic rank of Assistant Professor.

Primary responsibility for assisting with leadership, administration, research, curriculum development, and day-to-day operational activities of the Center. You will also be responsible for assisting with the curriculum and courses associated with the Master of Science in Biostatistics concentration in Data Science in Public Health; Graduate Certificates in Applied Artificial Intelligence in Population Health Outcomes, Health Analytics, and Population Health Informatics; and the Undergraduate Minor in Population Health Informatics. In addition, you will serve on committees and perform special assignments.
