Job Description:
Cydecor is looking for a Senior Human System Integration Engineer to provide integrated and comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety and occupational health, force protection and survivability, and habitability.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure human performance is optimized to increase total system performance and minimize total system ownership costs.
  • Maximize overall human-machine performance through understanding of the human element, offering a total system approach to help clients meet the demands of the evolving workplace.
  • The total system includes not just the prime mission equipment, but also the people who operate, maintain, and support the system, the training and training devices, and the operational and support infrastructure.

Here's what you need:
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Relevant Human Systems Integration (HSI) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs.
  • BS Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum OR BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/ or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
  • Ability to analyze designs through review of design artifacts
  • Ability to perform quantitative analyses
  • Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems engineers, electrical and electronics engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program outcomes
  • Interim or Active Top Secret clearance

Bonus points if you have:
  • 15 or more years of relevant experience
  • Relevant Human Systems Integration (HSI) engineering experience related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs for Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Master's degree in an Engineering field

Security Clearance:
Minimum: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.
Education:
BS Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum OR BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/ or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $159,900.00-$175,300.00. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
