About the Employer
The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The job of Instructional Assistant, Early Head Start (Level IV) is done for the purpose(s) of assisting in the supervision and instruction of infants and toddler-aged children (0 - 3 years old); performing classroom clerical tasks; assisting children in meeting health and nutrition needs and developing children's cognitive and emotional skills.
*This position is categorically funded.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of Transcript (Copy of legible transcripts must be attached to your application, showing Associate's Degree conferral date from an accredited college/university - transcripts must also show completion of 24 semester units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development (ECE/CD) coursework AND 6 infant/toddler units. Must attach transcripts showing grades earned - Diploma copies will not be accepted)
