Job description

Educational Assistants

Are you committed to helping students achieve success? ACES is seeking Educational Assistants to work in our partner district, Ansonia Public Schools in Ansonia, CT. The individual works in conjunction with the special and regular education teachers to support and assist students to achieve successful outcomes; academic, social and physical. Works with individual students or small groups of students.

General duties:

Assists the teacher with instruction support, student monitoring and material organization.

Assists students during transitions and supervises during class assignments.

Assists with supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, field trips, and instructional activities.

Ensure the learning environment is clean and safe.

Reports observations to lead teacher
