Health/Physical Educationย Teacher - Long-term Substitute
Dakota Meadows Middle Schools


A position as a long-term Substitute Health/Physical Educationย Teacher is available at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning October 22, 2026, and ending March 5, 2027.ย 

Summary of Duties:ย  ย  ย ย 

Curriculum & Instruction:

  • PE Instruction: Teach fundamental motor skills, team sports, cooperative games, and lifetime fitness concepts tailored to early adolescents.
  • Health Instruction: Deliver health education units on topics like nutrition, mental/emotional health, substance abuse prevention, and wellness.
  • Assessment: Evaluate student participation, physical skill development, and health content knowledge through practical and written assessments.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Coordinate with school counselors, nurses, and administration regarding student wellness and health accommodations.
  • Communication: Maintain contact with parents regarding student progress, participation issues, or health-related topics.

Qualifications Required:ย 
MN licensure in Health and Physical Educationย is required. ย ย

$261 - $477 (Daily rate based on the MTA salary schedule).
