The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and strategic talent delivery for assigned client facilities and clinician populations. This role operates as a trusted partner to both clients and providers, leveraging market expertise, relationship-driven recruiting strategies, and AI-enabled tools to ensure timely, high-quality placements. The Recruiter plays a critical role in strengthening provider pipelines, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare staffing environment.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-Cycle Recruiting & Talent Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting life cycle for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, credential coordination, placement, and retention support.

  • Develop and execute proactive recruiting strategies aligned with client demand, specialty mix, and market conditions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and placement process, ensuring exceptional provider experience.

AI-Enabled & Data-Driven Recruiting

  • Utilize CRM platforms and AI-powered sourcing tools to identify, engage, and prioritize qualified candidates efficiently.

  • Leverage automation, candidate matching technologies, and data insights to improve speed-to-fill, pipeline quality, and recruiter productivity.

  • Analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., response rates, time-to-fill, provider engagement trends) to continuously refine sourcing and outreach strategies.

Provider Relationship Development & Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clinicians, serving as a trusted advisor regarding career goals, assignment preferences, and market opportunities.

  • Actively manage provider pipelines to support repeat placements, redeployments, and ongoing engagement.

  • Educate providers on assignment expectations, credentialing requirements, and compliance standards to ensure successful placements.

Client Relationship Support

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to support client facilities by understanding staffing needs, urgency, and service expectations.

  • Contribute to client retention and satisfaction through consistent communication, responsiveness, and quality candidate submissions.

  • Maintain awareness of client-specific requirements, rate structures, and market nuances to ensure alignment between provider candidates and client needs.

Market Expertise & Strategic Sourcing

  • Maintain deep knowledge of healthcare staffing market trends, specialty demand, geographic challenges, and competitive landscape.

  • Conduct market mapping, targeted sourcing, and relationship-based outreach to build sustainable candidate pipelines.

  • Provide insight and feedback to leadership on market conditions, candidate availability, and hiring risks.

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, healthcare regulations, credentialing requirements, and internal policies.

  • Accurately document candidate activity, communications, and status updates within ATS and CRM systems.

  • Collaborate effectively with recruiting coordinators, credentialing teams, and operations partners to ensure seamless placements.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; healthcare staffing or locum tenens experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven success managing complex requisitions and long-term candidate pipelines.

  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours as business needs require; occasional travel may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced understanding of recruiting and staffing processes, preferably within healthcare or locum tenens environments.

  • Demonstrated experience using ATS, CRM platforms, AI-enabled sourcing tools, and data-driven recruiting workflows.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage both clinician and client-facing interactions professionally.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and educate providers and stakeholders.

  • High level of organization, follow-through, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and recruiting analytics tools.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client and market demands.

  • Flexible to travel occasionally and work outside of standard office hours.
