Job description

Job Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist 

Location: This is an ONSITE position at our Louisville facility located at 10400 Linn Station Road Suite 100 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30 pm EST

Pay: $16.00 hourly

General Summary

The Healthcare Data Entry Specialist is responsible for inputting healthcare data into the required format, ensuring accuracy and completion in the process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Key outside data into the necessary operating system.
  • Manage, organize and properly follow up on accounts requiring clarification to ensure timely capture
  • Maintenance of incoming and outgoing mail
  • System updates performed to notate returned mail
  • Maintain quality and production goals set by leadership
  • Maintain confidentiality of account information at all times
  • Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program Maintain a neat and orderly workstation
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by leadership

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proficient PC knowledge and the ability to type 50 wpm with at least 95% accuracy Excellent organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with coworkers
  • Ability to present oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times
  • Reliability of task completion and follow-up
