Primary Purpose:
  • Provide leadership in development, implementation and coordination of an education program for early childhood services.
  • Assist the program director in overall administration of the instructional program and campus level operations.

Special Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to implement Practice Based Coaching techniques
  • Ability to organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate Head Start curriculum
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Early Childhood Certification required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • CLASS Appraiser Certification required or obtain upon hire

Experience:
  • Five years classroom teaching experience required
  • Early Childhood classroom teaching experience required
