About the Role & Your Impact
With several active programs and more slated to come online early this year, we're hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead the successful delivery and scaling of our utility programs. In this highly cross-functional role, you'll own overall program targets, program design, and work with external stakeholders to deliver against our ambitious goals. This role will require collaborative leadership to set the strategic vision for each program and operational excellence to ensure consistent delivery across a number of contractual obligations, program milestones and revenue targets. This role reports to the head of Business Operations.
We're looking for someone who is excellent at risk management, program scheduling, stakeholder management, and managing regulatory complexity to deliver effective outcomes. You'll also be responsible for reporting to leadership program progress, leading program reviews, and advocating for process changes and improvements. This role is incredibly high impact and provides and opportunity to gain experience with partners across the industry, while enabling substantial growth for Zero.
What You Bring
  • 5-7+ years in a cross-functional, highly strategic operational roles with a track record of excellence
  • A bias for action with excellent organization, record-keeping, and time-management skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to distill technical information or industry jargon in an easy-to-understand way
  • Great presentation and public speaking skills
  • Tech savviness and willingness to learn new software systems
  • Expertise or familiarity with utilities, including energy efficiency, electrification, or demand-side management programs

Nice to Have
  • In-field or management experience in residential construction, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical retrofit work.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or other languages to support customers or partners
