Job Description
As the Head of Acceptance Risk & Security Solutions Management in North America, you will own the strategy, prioritization, commercialization, and revenue delivery for Visa's acceptance-side risk, security, and identity solutions. Your mandate is to help merchants, acquirers, payfacs, and broader acceptance ecosystem partners manage fraud and risk, improve profitability, and make better business decisions using Visa's data, network, and technology.
You will set and execute the North America strategy for acceptance risk services, scale identity and authentication solutions across the ecosystem, and build a forward-looking roadmap for new value-added services. This role requires close collaboration with global product and technology teams, market and sales leaders, and external partners to identify build-vs-buy opportunities, shape partnerships, and bring differentiated solutions to market.
Success in this role is measured by revenue growth, solution adoption, and market leadership of Visa's acceptance risk and identity portfolio in North America.
A strong customer-centric mindset, coupled with deep commercial understanding of a network business and fluency in modern risk and identity technologies, is essential. You will work closely with Core Solutions, Risk, Global Solutions, and market teams to ensure the North America portfolio is tightly aligned to regional client needs while leveraging global platforms and capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the client-facing Acceptance Risk & Security Solutions Management team, accountable for product leadership, deployment, and integration of risk and identity solutions
  • Define and execute the North America strategy and go-to-market vision for new acceptance risk and security solutions
  • Own and grow revenue performance for acceptance risk and identity solutions across the region
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new revenue-generating solutions, partnering with global teams and external providers
  • Provide strategic support to country and market product teams, including expertise, prioritization, and resource alignment
  • Drive execution with senior leadership, including commercialization guidance, solution prioritization, deal oversight, and partnership development
  • Represent Visa's acceptance risk and security vision to clients, partners, and executive audiences
  • Partner with market teams to develop and scale best practices across North America

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Deep expertise in fraud, risk, and identity solutions across the acceptance ecosystem (merchants, acquirers, payfacs, platforms)
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and/or product-led sales within the risk and fraud domain
  • Proven ability to shape strategy while driving execution, with strong business acumen and project management skills
  • Broad functional knowledge across technology, product development, sales, marketing, legal, and commercialization
  • Demonstrated record of high performance and recognition as a subject matter expert
  • Creativity and resilience in navigating ambiguity and overcoming obstacles
  • Strong commercial, contract, and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience within Visa or the payments ecosystem
  • Passion for the positive impact of technology on commerce and society
  • Proven delivery of risk and identity solutions from concept through commercialization
  • Ability to connect product, design, technology, and strategy to solve complex client problems

The estimated salary range for this position is $229,000.00 to $ 400,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
