NAVEX is looking for a Head of UX to transform and elevate how we design and deliver customer experiences. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who can set a bold vision, inspire through change, and lead through influence to turn strategy into action.
You'll bring Product, Engineering and Design together around a shared vision and clear goals, creating stronger alignment and new ways of working that accelerate development, reduce delivery risk and raise the bar for product quality. You'll champion a prototype-first culture that enables teams to test, learn and make decisions faster-ultimately delivering more intuitive, differentiated experiences for our customers.
You'll define NAVEX's AI-enabled UX strategy, leveraging AI to accelerate customer research, insight synthesis, prototyping, documentation and design delivery while keeping human-centered design at the core. You'll scale and mature our design capabilities, inspire innovation and turn customer insight into meaningful product and business impact.
Reporting to the SVP of Product Management, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to shape product strategy, influence investment decisions and drive the alignment, innovation and execution needed to deliver measurable customer and business results.

What you'll do:
  • Define and champion the global enterprise UX vision, creating cohesive, differentiated customer experiences that elevate design maturity and strengthen the NAVEX platform
  • Lead UX through transformation, creating clarity, alignment and momentum as priorities, ways of working and business needs evolve
  • Lead through influence, bringing Product, Engineering and executive leaders together around shared priorities investment decisions and action
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction, turning complex customer, design and business challenges into a compelling direction that inspires teams and drives action
  • Navigate ambiguity and remove obstacles, bringing resilience and maintaining momentum when priorities shift or the path forward is unclear
  • Define and execute NAVEX's AI-enabled UX strategy, accelerating research, prototyping and delivery while keeping human-centered design at the core
  • Champion a prototype-first product development model, using interactive prototypes to align teams earlier, accelerate decision-making, reduce risk and improve product quality and delivery
  • Be the voice of the customer, turning research and customer insight into product strategy, prioritization and measurable business outcomes
  • Lead design operations, building scalable design systems, research practices, governance and accessibility standards that enable quality and speed
  • Set the standard for design excellence, establishing clear principles, governance and quality frameworks that deliver intuitive, accessible and exceptional experiences
  • Build, inspire and hold accountable a high-performing UX team. Develop talent, set clear expectations and create a culture of ownership, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen how products are built, partnering with Product and Engineering to create operating models that improve collaboration, execution and delivery
  • Measure what matters, using customer feedback, product data and business outcomes to continuously improve adoption, engagement, retention and experience quality

What you'll bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Computer Interaction, Digital Media Design, Graphic Design or related field
  • 10+ years leading Product Design or UX within high-growth SaaS organizations, with experience shaping platform-scale experiences and transforming and scaling enterprise design organizations
  • 5+ years leading leaders, building high-performing teams and developing design talent through growth, change and transformation
  • A track record of leading meaningful transformation-challenging established ways of working, building new capabilities and elevating UX as a strategic business function
  • Proven ability to set a compelling vision and mobilize teams around it, creating clarity, alignment and momentum across Product, Engineering and Design
  • Demonstrated success leading through influence, navigating competing priorities and driving change across functions and levels of an organization
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire action, influence decisions and bring others around a shared vision
  • Strong product and business acumen, with a track record of connecting UX strategy and customer insight to measurable customer and business outcomes
  • Deep customer focus and the ability to translate research, feedback and data into product strategy, prioritization and investment decisions
  • Demonstrated success using AI to accelerate research, rapid prototyping, design quality and team productivity while keeping human-centered design at the core
  • Experience collaboratively modernizing product development through AI, prototype-first practices and scalable cross-functional operating models
  • Expertise scaling Design Operations, including design systems, research operations, governance and modern design practices
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic UX leadership, platform thinking, design excellence and measurable business impact
  • Experience defining UX success measures tied to adoption, engagement, satisfaction, retention and business performance
  • Deep expertise in accessibility, inclusive design and modern UX best practices
