Team Leader of Software Development

Remote-US

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

We're seeking a collaborative and technically strong Software Development Team Lead to lead a team of developers within our TechOps organization. This role blends people leadership with hands-on technical guidance, focusing on mentoring developers, driving architectural decisions, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support critical business operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers.
  • Guide software projects through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Drive architectural decisions and promote scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Champion coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, prioritization, and team coordination.
  • Provide performance coaching, career development support, and hiring assistance.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including architecture and solution design.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing software developers.
  • Strong technical expertise in:

At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109,961.10 to $144,906.88
