FORVIA -HELLA is seeking its next great Head of Program Management - Peals to joinour growing team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of multipleproduct types within our sensors design silo.

DailyResponsibilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing program management team with automotive expertise by leading and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks.
  • Guide overall hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands
  • Provide coaching, development, and succession planning for program managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence by managing of employees according to corporate and center product targets and delegation.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5 + years experience working with global automotive OEMs and/ or Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Proven track record of launching automotive products (e.g., ECUs, lighting systems, powertrain components, Sensors or Electronic components).
  • Deep understanding of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and OEM development cycle processes.
    Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive program management, leadership experience preferred
  • PMP, PgMP, or automotive-specific certifications (e.g., VDA, AIAG) are a plus
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, SAP and automotive PLM systems.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with ultrasonic, pressure, steering or position sensors in automotive applications.
  • Fluency additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish) are a plus.
