Head of Performance Marketing

Hassle Free Home Services

Rockville, MD โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

Homeownership is fragmented and challenging. Homeowners juggle contractors, recurring maintenance, and emergencies with no trusted partner. Hassle Free Home is changing that, and this role builds the growth engine behind a differentiated consumer services company. You'll have meaningful ownership, direct access to leadership, and the chance to shape how we grow for years.

The Role

The Head of Performance Marketing will own customer acquisition strategy and economics across Hassle Free Home: generating high-quality members, improving LTV, and driving LTV-to-CAC across markets and channels. This isn't a media-buying job. You'll connect acquisition, conversion, retention, and unit economics to decide where and how we grow.

What You'll Own

Acquisition Strategy

  • Own the acquisition plan across paid search, paid social, direct mail, partnerships, referrals, local marketing, SEO, and new channels
  • Build channel plans, budgets, forecasts, and testing roadmaps
  • Allocate spend based on marginal return and customer quality, not just volume
  • Build a playbook that scales across new and existing markets

Cohort Economics

  • Own CAC, conversion, retention, payback, and LTV by cohort
  • Identify which channels, offers, and customer profiles produce the best members
  • Partner with Finance and Ops on a shared source of truth for marketing performance
  • Optimize for long-term contribution, not lead volume

Testing and Conversion

  • Run a real experimentation program: audiences, creative, offers, landing pages, funnel, sales handoff
  • Set clear hypotheses and success metrics
  • Turn customer insight into sharper positioning and creative

Leadership

  • Be the company's senior voice on acquisition economics
  • Partner with Sales on lead quality, speed-to-lead, and conversion
  • Work with Product/Tech on tracking, automation, and personalization
  • Build and coach a high-performing team, internal and agency

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in performance marketing with real budget ownership across digital channels
  • You know the difference between leads and valuable long-term customers
  • Fluent in cohort analysis, CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution economics
  • Data-first, but decisive even with imperfect information
  • Strong cross-functional operator, not just a marketer in a lane
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving company where leaders stay close to the work

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Health/vision/dental insurance
  • PTO
  • Location: DC/MD or NYC, hybrid schedule
