Head of Middle School Search Profile
The Prairie School, a premier independent PreK-12 college preparatory school located on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, seeks an inspiring and student-centered Middle School Division Head to lead grades 6-8 for the 2027/28 school year. Founded in 1965, The Prairie School serves 651 students in grades PreK-12 with a 7:1 student-teacher ratio and a strong tradition of academic excellence, leadership development, and individualized learning. 

Prairie is known for its challenging academics, exceptional faculty, small class sizes, thriving arts and athletics programs, and a deeply supportive community culture. The ideal candidate will be a visible, collaborative educational leader who values relationship-based learning, faculty mentorship, and the developmental needs of middle school students.
