Job description

Head of Commercialization

Location: Bay Area (San Mateo, CA) preferred or New York, NY

What should you know about joining Glance?

At Glance, we walk the talk - free yourself, dream big, and chase your passion! On joining, you'll have opportunities to make an immediate impact on mission-critical projects, as you work with highly capable and ambitious peer groups. Be rewarded for your autonomy even as you collaborate. Ideate, innovate, and inspire by leveraging bleeding-edge tech to disrupt consumer experiences.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. You will focus on building strategic 1:1 relationships with premium and mid-market retailers in categories like fashion, beauty, and accessories, driving the adoption of Glance's Agentic Commerce platform in the U.S. retail market.

Overview of the role:

We're hiring a Head of Commercial Strategy & GTM to build the end-to-end engine that turns Glance AI's breakthrough AI commerce experiences into durable, predictable revenue in North America. You will sit at the center of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and own the four disciplines that take a new product from concept to scaled revenue: Commercial Strategy & GTM, Product Marketing & Sales Enablement, Launch & Commercialization (PoC MVP Launch), and Revenue Operations & Growth-run in close partnership with our India-based RevOps team.

Think of it this way: Strategy defines what we build. You will make it sellable, make it understandable, and make it predictable. If you do the job well, Glance AI will show up in the market with a clear commercial narrative, a disciplined launch motion, and a revenue operating system that compounds with every new product and partnership.

The impact you'll make

  • Own commercial strategy & GTM: Define ICPs, segmentation, and verticalized GTM strategies across enterprise retailers, digital-native brands, and strategic platforms (initial vertical focus: Fashion/Apparel, Beauty, Lifestyle). Build pricing and packaging across media, performance, and platform models; develop the business cases, revenue models, and market sizing that shape where Glance AI invests, what we charge, and how we win.
  • Lead Product Marketing & Sales Enablement: Own positioning and messaging for Glance AI's AI Commerce platform and its experiences-Agentic Feed, Agentic Chat, Virtual Try-On, and Embed across lock screen, mobile, and CTV. Lead the Product Marketing team and its output: sales decks, case studies, battle cards, one-pagers, and the campaigns that support every launch. Build the sales enablement muscle-training, certifications, and content-that equips every rep to tell our story and win.
  • Run the PoC MVP Launch motion: Own Glance AI's commercialization pipeline from first pilot through general availability. Design pilots with design-partner brands, scope MVPs with Product, drive sales readiness, orchestrate cross-functional launches, and build the launch playbooks that let us ship repeatedly at scale. Own post-launch optimization-iterating pricing, positioning, and packaging based on live market signal.
  • Make revenue predictable with RevOps: Partner with our India-based Revenue Operations team to deliver accurate forecasting, disciplined CRM process and hygiene, effective sales comp plan design, healthy pipeline, and the analytics that answer the real questions leadership is asking. Work closely with Rev Ops to translate inputs into commercial decisions-where to pursue, what to price, who to hire, and what to fix.
  • Bridge product innovation and revenue: Act as the connective tissue between Product and Revenue. Translate market and customer feedback into product and roadmap priorities, and ensure every new capability has a clear commercial path before it ships. Close the two critical gaps in most GTM orgs: strategy product marketing and product marketing launch.
  • Enable strategic ecosystem partnerships: Your efforts will enable our partnerships with commerce platforms, data providers, agencies, and technology ecosystems that accelerate catalog onboarding, merchant adoption, and distribution. Structure co-GTM motions that turn ecosystem relationships into real pipeline.

The experience we need:

  • 12-15+ years across commercial strategy, GTM leadership, product marketing, or revenue operations-with direct experience owning at least two of those functions.
  • Proven track record of scaling new products and revenue streams (01 and beyond) in retail media, commerce, adtech, SaaS, or marketplace platforms.
  • Deep experience with monetization-pricing, packaging, and revenue models across media, performance, and platform-based products.
  • Strong product marketing instincts: you can own positioning and messaging yourself, not just hire for it.
  • Experience running a disciplined launch motion (PoC MVP Launch) with cross-functional stakeholders, and a track record of repeatable go-to-market execution.
  • Fluency working with (or in) RevOps-forecasting, pipeline health, CRM process, comp plan design, and funnel analytics-with the ability to partner effectively with a distributed team.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; can move between executive narrative and the numbers that support it.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining structure in a new, emerging category.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience commercializing AI-driven or personalization-led products.
  • Background in first-party data, shopper marketing, or audience monetization.
  • Familiarity with CTV, mobile OEM ecosystems, or other emerging commerce surfaces.
  • Experience leading or partnering closely with a product marketing function.
  • Prior success operating across U.S. and India time zones (or another global market)
  • BA or BS degree required; MBA or degree in marketing, or a related field are a bonus but not required

 Why Join Glance?

  • Be at the forefront of AI-driven commerce transformation
  • Help define and scale a new category: agentic commerce
  • Work with leading global brands and retailers shaping the future of shopping
  • High-impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership
  • An opportunity to build and influence the enterprise sales playbook from the ground up

At Glance, you'll be surrounded by people who...

  • Think big and act fast:We're entrepreneurial, thrive in ambiguity, and love solving high-impact problems
  • Are passionate, fanatically driven, and take immense pride in their work:We care deeply about the impact we create and continuously push our potential
  • Own their outcomes:We take responsibility, make bold decisions, and execute with confidence
  • Embrace freedom with accountability:We value autonomy and understand that trust comes with responsibility
  • Believe in lifelong learning:We welcome feedback, challenge ourselves to grow, and aren't afraid to take smart risks
