Head of People Operations & Manufacturing Excellence (North America)
The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal leadership role driving the People Transformation agenda across our North America Supply Chain. As the Head of the People Pillar, you will be the chief architect of our human capital strategy, merging Operational Excellence with cutting-edge Human Resources practices. You will lead the integration of continuous improvement methodologies into the very fabric of our manufacturing culture, ensuring our workforce is as efficient, agile, and advanced as our production lines.
Strategic Impact & Accountabilities
  • HR Transformation & Strategy: Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive People Capabilities strategy with our Global Operations organization. Revamp legacy HR processes into high-impact, business-focused systems that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Operational Excellence Integration: Serve as the strategic link between Supply Chain operations and HR. Implement robust Continuous Improvement (CI) frameworks to boost manufacturing efficiency through people-centric solutions.
  • Capability Building & Coaching: Act as a Master Coach for site leadership (Plant Managers, BU Leaders) and HR Business Partners. Facilitate data-driven, statistical problem-solving and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to close performance gaps.
  • Talent Ecosystem Development: Design a holistic talent strategy encompassing our internal learning platforms, mentorship programs, and high-potential rotational assignments to build a future-ready talent pipeline.
  • Global Standardization: Collaborate with global functional owners and digital teams to simplify and standardize people-ops solutions, delivering a "single source of truth" for all North American manufacturing sites.
  • Change Management: Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives, ensuring all "People Pillar" activities align with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term 3-Year Strategic (3YS) goals.

What You Bring
  • CPG Mastery: 10+ years of leadership experience in CPG Manufacturing; a background in Food/Beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • HR Leadership & Transformation Excellence: Act as a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) and transformation architect, designing and deploying large-scale Continuous Improvement (CI) training programs. You will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that embed Manufacturing Excellence into the employee lifecycle, ensuring frontline and leadership teams possess the technical and behavioral competencies to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Human resources or other technical field is preferred to bridge the gap between technical operations and HR.
  • Continuous Improvement DNA: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) with a proven track record of using statistical approaches to solve complex operational challenges is nice to have.
  • Transformational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and lead large, decentralized teams through complex transformations.
  • Executive Presence & Site-Level Buy-In: Demonstrate sophisticated executive presence with the ability to influence from VP-level stakeholders to Site Manufacturing Leaders. You must be an expert at articulating complex technical or HR transformations into compelling business cases to translate high-level strategy into practical manufacturing benefits. Whether presenting in the boardroom or engaging with a Plant Leaders, you are skilled at securing investment and cultural buy-in for large-scale People and Operational Excellence initiatives across the North American zone.
  • Agility & Travel: A decisive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. Willingness to travel 50% to engage directly with our manufacturing facilities across the US and Canada.
