We are seeking a distinguished Head Doctor specializing in Neurology to lead our medical team in Bozeman, Montana. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing the field of neurology. You will serve as a clinical leader, mentor to medical professionals, and advocate for comprehensive neurological care. This role offers the flexibility of work-from-home arrangements while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations with precision and clinical expertise
  • Order and interpret advanced diagnostic tests, including MRIs, CT scans, and EEGs, to guide clinical decision-making
  • Diagnose and manage complex neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating medication, surgery, therapy, and lifestyle modifications
  • Monitor patient progress systematically and adjust treatment protocols as clinical conditions evolve
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including neurosurgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and orthopedic specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Lead clinical initiatives and mentor junior physicians and medical staff
  • Coordinate with orthopedic colleagues on cases involving neurological complications of musculoskeletal conditions, including nerve compression syndromes, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical neurological complications
Required Qualifications
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited neurology residency program
  • Board certification in Neurology (or eligibility)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion for patients and their families
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the nervous system
  • Valid medical license to practice in Montana
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting
  • Experience in orthopedic neurology or peripheral nerve disorders
  • Subspecialty training in movement disorders, stroke, or epilepsy
  • Research experience or publications in neurology
  • Experience with telemedicine and remote patient care delivery
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
