Audio Video Integration is a family-owned company proudly serving Marin County and the surrounding communities for nearly 40 years. We specialize in high-quality home technology systems including audio/video, networking, automation, surveillance, and motorized shades. Our reputation is built on professionalism, craftsmanship, and long-term customer relationships.
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced A/V Installer / Technician who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a professional, well-established company.
This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential or commercial low-voltage systems who can work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and deliver clean, organized installations.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, assemble, install, and terminate A/V equipment racks and head-end systems with clean, professional cable management
  • Install and configure audio/video systems including TVs, projectors, screens, speakers, and network equipment
  • Install and program control systems, lighting control, surveillance cameras, and motorized shades
  • Run and terminate low-voltage cabling in residential and commercial environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
  • Read and interpret system drawings, schematics, and plans
  • Communicate daily job progress and updates to the Project Manager
  • Maintain professional job site standards and documentation
Required Qualifications (One or More)
  • Low-voltage wiring experience
  • Home theater installation
  • Electrician or construction trade experience
  • Networking or IT experience
  • Shades or lighting control installation
Strongly Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following technologies will be given priority:
  • Control4 programming or installation
  • Lutron / RadioRA3 systems
  • RTI or URC control systems
  • Residential or commercial networking
  • Rack building and system commissioning
  • Troubleshooting complex A/V systems
Training is available for motivated candidates, but prior hands-on experience in the A/V or low-voltage field is highly valued.
Requirements
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in A/V, low-voltage, or related field preferred
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Comfortable working on construction sites
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Availability MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
