Job description

HCT is seeking an experienced pharmaceutical professional to serve as an Interim Director of Pharmacy at a 50 bed hospital in WA.


The Pharmacy Director's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct and oversee daily inpatient operations; Looking at quality, regulatory preparedness, compliance
  • Interfacing with nurse managers and other leaders and report outs
  • May have to be the Pharmacy PIC/Person in Charge
  • Work in an inpatient pharmacy enviroment
  • Primarily M-F with availability on weekends as needed


Requirements:

  • Education: PharmD required
  • Experience: 3-5 years of patient care inpatient experience; 3-5 years of management/leadership experience; experience with direct bedside care/Inpatient/ clinical experience
  • License: Licensed to practice in WA is required or in the process already and about to receive their license in WA.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
