*This position is Full-time with required on-site orientation/training in our Las Vegas, NV office and the possibility to work from home after meeting and maintaining productivity standards. Experience in ASC or Surgical billing is strongly recommended.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Billing Specialist for our surgery centers, you will be responsible for providing and contributing to the company’s mission, vision, and values by accurately billing all diagnosis and procedures from medical records with proper ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes. You will be responsible for daily charges, preparing and submitting claims to third party payers, applying contractual adjustments, credit balance reviews and audits.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will assign diagnosis and procedure codes for each case
  • You will submit and upload insurance and patient bills
  • You will apply contractual adjustments
  • You will monitor logs to make sure claims are submitted and received properly
  • You will correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely manner
  • You will follow-up with insurance companies to ensure receipt of bills within 28 days

What qualifications will you need:

  • One year of experience in billing in a medical business office
