About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a variety of commercial plumbing projects in a dynamic, hands-on environment. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and are ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial projects
  • Perform rough-in plumbing, finish work, and system testing on commercial job sites
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Requirements:
  • Valid California Journeyman Plumber license required
  • Minimum 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Experience with pipe fitting, soldering, welding, and drain systems
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
