Professional Accountant: We’re hiring for character, potential and work ethic!
Havco Wood Products, LLC is seeking applicants for a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience, and a workplace where teamwork and integrity matter as much as debits and credits.
About the role
  • Support day-to-day accounting operations
  • Help keep records accurate and organized (filing, documentation, audit-ready support)
  • Assist with monthly close tasks such as reconciliations and report preparation
  • Learn about our systems and processes and look for ways to improve them
  • Partner with teammates across the business to solve problems and keep things moving
What we’re looking for
  • A bachelor's degree in business is required
  • Minimum of two years’ Accounting experience required, if degree is not in Accounting
  • Integrity and confidentiality—comfortable handling sensitive information
  • Strong fundamentals (you understand the “why,” not just the steps)
  • High attention to detail and pride in getting things right
  • Coachability: you seek feedback, apply it, and improve quickly
  • Reliable communicator who follows through and works well with others
  • Comfort with Excel and learning new systems (experience matters less than willingness)
Nice to have (not required)
  • CPA
  • Exposure to ERP/accounting software (any system)
  • Accounting experience, especially in manufacturing setting
