Job description

If you enjoy the excitement and challenge of warehouse work, but aren't in love with the idea of operating heavy machinery, a Dot Foods package and assembly handler position may be just what you're looking for. As a P&A handler, you'll provide a unique business solution to our partners centered around promotional product displays.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Load/unload product from trailers manually or with pallet jack equipment.
• Calibrate thermometers and measure product temperature.
• General housekeeping of work area
• Potential interaction with the Food Safety and Inspection Service
• Maintain adequate packaging supplies
YOU MUST HAVE
• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Strong math skills
• Ability to pass standard physical abilities test to meet the physical demands of job
• A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
• Experience in handling pressure and working with customers
• Experience in an environment that promotes sanitation, cleanliness and personal
hygiene
• Computer experience
ROLE SPECIFICS
• Schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30AM-5:00PM
Extensive standing/walking on concrete
• Work in temperatures that range from 0 to 80 degrees
• Wear personal protective equipment such as steel toe shoes, gloves, goggles,
hairnets, and smocks
