We are seeking a Global Sourcing Manager, Marketing, to join Hasbro in Boston, MA. At Hasbro, we build play and entertainment experiences that connect generations and encourage fans around the world.
As the Global Sourcing Manager, Marketing, you will develop and complete sourcing and category strategies across marketing and production spend. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, build strong supplier partnerships, and provide value through innovation, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
You will report directly to the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing, aligning procurement approaches with business priorities. You will also build stronger supplier relationships and advance sourcing initiatives supporting brand growth and business performance.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday -Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA.
A Day in the Life of a Global Sourcing Manager, Marketing:
  • Lead comprehensive sourcing projects across marketing and production categories, from opportunity evaluation through contract negotiation and supplier optimization.
  • Analyze financial data to deliver timely, actionable insights that support sourcing decisions.
  • Align sourcing and supplier approaches with business priorities, integration plans, and long-term roadmaps.
  • Develop and complete category strategies across production vendors, creative agencies, branding partners, post-production suppliers, and marketing technology providers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Production teams to align priorities, build consensus, and get results.
  • Deliver measurable value through strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, demand management, and total cost optimization.
  • Direct agency and supplier performance to promote innovation, ownership, and alignment with company standards.
  • Transform complex data into insights and recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Promote digital procurement tools and analytics to boost clarity, efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Lead supplier risk management and compliance initiatives to strengthen the marketing supply base.
  • Inspire change management initiatives while ensuring business continuity.
  • Own domestic and international contract negotiations from strategy through execution.
  • Manage multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to advance innovation and business objectives.
  • Find opportunities through data analysis and proactively lead strategic sourcing projects.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of marketing procurement experience with a strong background in production, digital marketing, and creative categories.
  • A strategic sourcing and negotiation role passionate about marketing services and production spend.
  • Accountable for supplier strategy, contract negotiations, cost savings, performance management, and return on investment.
  • A hands-on procurement leadership role with direct ownership of sourcing strategies, deal execution, and contract management.
  • A role requiring close cooperation with Marketing, Finance, and Legal while providing measurable business value through procurement excellence.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook with a solutions-focused approach and the ability to lead across diverse collaborators.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior Marketing and Finance leaders in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Solid experience in strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, and managing supplier performance.
  • Deep understanding of marketing services, advertising, production, and marketing technologies supporting digital and data-driven campaigns.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5-10% globally.
