Job description

We are seeking a Vice President of Sales - Walmart & Sam's Club to lead one of Hasbro's most strategic and high-impact businesses. This is a critical enterprise leadership role, responsible for shaping the future of our partnership with the world's largest retailer.

We are investing in our Bentonville team and are excited to open a brand-new office space this summer located in the Pinnacle Hill neighborhood in Rogers, AR.  This critical leadership role, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, calls for a seasoned, forward-thinking sales leader who thrives in complexity, moves with pace, and leads with ownership.

This is more than a customer leadership role-it is an opportunity to drive the next phase of growth and transformation for Hasbro within the Walmart ecosystem. If you're the kind of leader who sees opportunity where others see complexity-and moves fast enough to capture it-you'll fit right in!

A Day in the Life:

  • Own and evolve a multi-billion-dollar retail partnership across Walmart and Sam's Club
  • Lead at the intersection of category strategy, digital acceleration, and franchise storytelling
  • Lead with clarity, urgency, and autonomy, navigating a matrixed organization while delivering outsized impact.

  • Shape how Hasbro shows up in a rapidly changing omnichannel retail environment
  • Operate as a general manager of the business, with end-to-end accountability and influence
  • Own full P&L accountability, delivering revenue, profit, and market share growth
  • Set and communicate a clear, compelling strategic vision aligned with Hasbro's priorities
  • Lead joint business planning (JBP) across both banners, driving alignment and execution at scale

Drive Category & Omnichannel Leadership:

  • Leverage deep expertise in category management and retail dynamics to shape assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategies
  • Lead Hasbro's omnichannel growth strategy
  • Use data, analytics, and insights to unlock growth opportunities and influence category direction

Own Shopper Marketing & Retail Activation:

  • Lead the shopper marketing function for Walmart & Sam's Club, integrating media, merchandising, and promotions
  • Deliver insight-led, differentiated programs that elevate Hasbro's presence in-store and online
  • Ensure seamless connection between brand strategy and retail execution, driving conversion and loyalty

Deliver Franchise-Led Growth:

  • Partner across brand, marketing, insights, and commercial teams to bring franchise strategies to life at Walmart
  • Lead execution of integrated commercial programs that differentiate Hasbro and drive category growth
  • Ensure Hasbro wins through storytelling, innovation, and execution excellence

Lead Strategic Partnerships (Walmart + Licensees):

  • Serve as the senior relationship owner with Walmart, building trusted partnerships at the highest levels
  • Lead and align partnerships with key licensors (e.g., Disney and others) within the Walmart ecosystem
  • Orchestrate collaboration across Hasbro, licensors, and Walmart to deliver cohesive, high-impact programs

Deliver Operational & Commercial Excellence:

    • Drive forecasting, supply alignment, and execution to achieve best-in-class service metrics
    • Lead rigorous business reviews, dynamically adjusting plans to deliver results

Build and Inspire a High-Performing Team:

  • Build, lead, and develop a world-class sales and customer marketing organization
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Develop talent and capabilities aligned to the future of retail

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a leading consumer or branded organization
  • Proven success leading Walmart and/or Sam's Club businesses at scale
  • Deep expertise in category management, shopper marketing, and omnichannel retail
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, retail media, and Walmart's evolving ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success operating within a matrixed organization, influencing across functions
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering sustained, profitable growth
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, geographically distributed teams
