Job Description

The Project Manager (HW Senior) manages large sized infrastructure projects with high complexity at one or more sites. Performs project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure project(s) are completed on schedule and within budget. Oversees the ongoing review of project(s) status.

Qualifications

Desired experience:

Six or more years of direct professional experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a strong emphasis on IT infrastructure projects.

Minimum requirements:

Responsible for the oversight, coordination, and completion of IT projects. Leading and coordinating project efforts specific to hardware projects. Work with the PMO and contract leadership in support of Hardware implementations within the project infrastructure, ensuring successful execution of Hardware projects with no disruption to services. Schedule and see through hardware infrastructure implementations. Defines project scope and objectives.Develops detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with customer, and other departments involved in the projects and provides technical guidance. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews all projects and their deliverables. Confirm resources are assigned to support project tasks and the tasks are completed on time. Identifies, manages, mitigates and reports on risks. Certified ITIL v3 Foundations or PMI certified PMP. Current Public Trust Level Clearance, or able to obtain clearance.Ability to use word processing, databases and spreadsheet programs; preferably MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
