Paraprofessional, Study Hall Monitor: Lakewood High School; 2026-2027 school year; must have or obtain an education aide permit from the Ohio Department of Education and meet the guidelines of Every Student Succeeds Act; not to exceed 6.25 paid hours per day; (Scheduled as determined by Supervisor); responsible to building principal and/or designee.
To Meet ESSA requirements: 1. Have earned at least 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours from an Institution of Higher Education; 2. Hold at least an Associate's Degree; or 3. Successfully completed the ODE State Mandated Para Assessment. If you have not met one of the three above, must be willing to successful complete number 3, the Ohio Para Assessment.
Paraprofessionals may be required to perform various medical and/or health-related procedures, including lifting, toileting, and feeding, as a part of their job duties. In situations where invasive medical procedures are required, specific training will be provided.
