Job description

Hackensack University Medical Center is now accepting applicants for their Regional Anesthesiology Fellowship program to join our team located in Hackensack, NJ!
The Hackensack University Medical Center Regional Anesthesia Fellowship offers a one-year non-ACGME program (planning future ACGME accreditation) with diverse and comprehensive clinical experience. The mission of our program is to inspire clinical and professional excellence. Fellows will work with engaging faculty and receive exposure to a high volume of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques for orthopedic, vascular, thoracic and abdominal surgeries. Fellows will actively participate in didactic and scholarly activities with opportunities to teach anesthesiology residents. Clinical time will be spent in the main and ambulatory operating rooms. A new state of the art patient care tower with 24 operating rooms and a premier orthopedic surgery center with 5 operating rooms.
The successful applicant will have an M.D. or D.O. degree, completed or in the process of completing an ACGME-accredited residency program in Anesthesiology and be in the process of primary certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Prior to the start of training, the applicant must have a New Jersey Medical License.
Hackensack University Medical Center is leading academic medical center affiliated with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and Level I Trauma Center. Enjoy easy access to Manhattan and all that NJ has to offer.
