Organization Profile: Hawthorne Foundation Inc. serves children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our educational, vocational and life skills programs are only a few of the programs available. We also offer parent training, recreational activities and crisis intervention.

Job description:

Qualifications

o High school or equivalent (Required for Comm Hab).

o Must have clean NYS drivers license (Required).

o Must have own vehicle to transport individuals into the community

o Developmental disabilities with children or adults: 1 year (Preferred).

o Salary range based on Individualโ€™s Self-Direction budget.

o Work experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities/OPWDD with children or adults preferred.

o Must have an electronic device, such as smartphone to clock in/out.

o Comm Hab: required to have a desk top/lap top to perform required documentation such as entering daily goals on time sheets, monthly summary notes etc.

o Comm Hab/Respite Staff: 5 โ€“ 29 hours per week.

o When applying specify which county youโ€™re applying for.

o Must have a electronic device, such as a smartphone to clock in/out (required).

o Comm Hab: required to have a desk top/lap top to perform required documentation such as entering daily goals on time sheets, monthly summary notes etc.

o Spanish, English, etc. (Preferred).
