Position Summary:


Press Seal Corp. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist /Tool Maker capable of G-Code Programing to join our precision machining team. This role focuses on programming and operating Haas CNC milling and turning centers and Fanuc Wire EDMs in a Lean 5S tool room environment, ensuring high-quality production of complex components, including tooling work and short to medium production runs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with G-Code programming, setup, and operation of Haas machines, Fanuc Wire EDM and a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.


Key Responsibilities:


Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC lathes, Milling machines and Fanuc Wire EDM.

Write and optimize G-Code programs for efficient and accurate machining.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Utilize support equipment such as surface grinders, band saws, and welding tools when required.

Document setups, tooling, and process improvements for repeatability and continuous improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining and G-Code programming.

Proficiency in Haas control systems and familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Familiarity with Swiss lathes, Wire EDMs, and manual machining is strongly preferred.

Experience with bar feeders, 4th axis milling, and multi-axis turning.

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Fanuc Wire EDMs

Experience with tooling setup, fixture design, and cycle time optimization.

Mastercam programing

Knowledge of rubber injection molds & stamping dies

Mori Seiki lathes

Star Swiss Lathes
