About this role
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Psychiatrists for a medical clinic located in Oakland, CA. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services or work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity.
* This role is as an Independant Contractor (1099)
Pay Rate: $272/hr
Work Location: Oakland, CA
Length of assignment: 6 months or longer term
Schedule: 16 hours, 2 days, 8 hours a day, Thursdays and Fridays ONSITE | 8:30am-5:00pm
Job Duties:
  • Medication assessments and follow-ups with flexible appointment scheduling.
  • Case management support in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Ongoing symptom management
  • Client has an E.H.R., Clinician's Gateway, so candidates must be computer literate.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein,
  • 2-3 references
  • All Psychiatrists musty be able to speak, understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Interest and commitment in community psychiatry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to patient advocacy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with the clients, department staff and community agencies
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through on instructions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in a timely manner
