Job description

Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist Position at Duke Women's Health Cary Division

Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist to join our Duke Women's Health Cary Division.

The role includes:

  • Obstetrics and gynecology care provided at the Cary and Holly Springs, NC, clinic locations.
  • Low and high-risk obstetrics prenatal care through delivery and post-partum.
  • Streamlined access to consultation with Duke Maternal Fetal Medicine when needed.
  • Obstetric delivery at Wake Med Cary Women's Pavilion and Birth Center in Cary, NC.
  • Hospitalist provides labor triage at the Wake Med Cary Women's Pavilion and Birth Center in collaboration with the physicians.
  • Gynecologic care to patients of all ages, including well-woman care, contraception, family planning, menopause, and gynecologic problems.
  • DaVinci robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic surgeries at Duke ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Resident teaching in the OR.
  • Student teaching in the clinic and the OR.
  • Participation in resident education and departmental Grand Rounds.

Candidate requirements include an MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency. Experienced and recently trained practitioners dedicated to providing compassionate patient care are encouraged to apply.
