As a Physician Assistant in OB/GYN, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as minor surgical procedures, prenatal examinations, and gynecological assessments.
• Collaborating with OB/GYN physicians to manage patient care, ensure continuity, and make informed decisions regarding patient treatment.
• Educating patients on health and wellness, prenatal care, and gynecological procedures, while addressing their questions and concerns.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) to facilitate best practices in patient care.
• Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights that contribute to better outcomes.

The Physician Assistant will primarily work with women of various ages, promoting reproductive health and managing conditions related to pregnancy and gynecological health. Our patient population includes expectant mothers as well as women seeking routine gynecological care, necessitating a compassionate and informed approach to diverse medical needs.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant certification and an unrestricted state medical license in California.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, alongside adherence to local regulations regarding booster doses.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
• A proactive approach to patient care, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, preferably in a surgical or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
• Advanced training or hands-on experience showcasing your ability to manage a range of women’s health issues.
