What is GxP compliance?

GxP compliance refers to the set of regulations and guidelines that govern good practices in various fields such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and food industries. The 'G' stands for 'Good', the 'x' is a variable representing specific areas (like Manufacturing, Laboratory, or Clinical), and the 'P' stands for 'Practice'. GxP regulations ensure that products are safe, meet quality standards, and are produced consistently. Organizations must follow these guidelines to maintain product integrity and comply with regulatory authorities. Failure to comply with GxP can result in serious legal and safety consequences.
