As a Manager on the Insurance Solutions team, you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end architecture for Guidewire solutions, serving as a bridge between client stakeholders and Deloitte delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure configuration and integration designs.

  • Lead solution architecture for Guidewire implementations across policy, billing, and claims transformations within insurance client environments
  • Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into configuration, integration, and data architecture decisions
  • Establish technical standards, guide solution design reviews, and validate prototypes to support delivery quality, scalability, and security
  • Oversee architecture support across build, testing, deployment, and production readiness activities while managing technical risks and dependencies
  • Lead teams and mentor junior practitioners across workstreams, stakeholder interactions, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of consulting experience and/or insurance industry experience in property and casualty, life and annuity/group, commercial, or specialty insurance
  • 6+ years of experience implementing insurance core platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or Origami, including 4+ years leading full lifecycle implementations of policy, billing, and/or claims systems
  • 4+ years of experience supporting one or more insurance domains such as products, underwriting, claims, billing and payments, policy administration, or distribution
  • 2+ years of experience leading at least one large business integration effort and project team through scoping, planning, requirements, design, development, and testing
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in business, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • CPCU, AIC, ARM, and/or Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification
  • 4+ years of experience with Guidewire Cloud Claims migration
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with Java, Gosu, Enterprise JavaBeans, Business Process Execution Language, and UNIX
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300.
