Job Summary:
VARITE INC is seeking a Guidewire Tester with strong functional testing experience on Guidewire applications. The role involves end-to-end testing of Guidewire transactions and supporting Agile delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Responsibilities:
• Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing of Guidewire applications
• Test Guidewire transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, FNOL, Claims lifecycle
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and UI screens
• Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / ALM
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with business analysts and developers
• Support UAT and release activities
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–7 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing
• Strong hands on experience in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)
• Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
• Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
• Exposure to test automation (Selenium / Playwright)
• API testing using Postman
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Guidewire Cloud/SaaS exposure
