Position: Guidewire Domain Test Lead
Location: Memphis,TN (Remote - initial 6 weeks)
Duration: Long Term
Job Decription:
• 12+ years in the Insurance domain with a strong focus on P&C Insurance or specific LOBs like Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Property, or Liability.
• Act as the Lead Domain Expert for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, ensuring solution alignment across Policy Administration, Claims, and Billing functions.
• Evaluate and map Guidewire Insurance Suite capabilities (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) to meet client-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the validation of configurations, rating engine logic, workflows, and data models, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct and direct cross-functional domain reviews with Product Owners, Architects, and SMEs to maintain strategic solution alignment.
• Support testing efforts by defining high-complexity validation scenarios (e.g., endorsements, renewals, claims adjudications).
• Maintain comprehensive domain documentation, including use cases, business process flows, product mappings, and coverage definitions.
• Facilitate high-impact requirement workshops to gather and refine business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into structured, testable deliverables aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Collaborate closely with QA, BA, and Development teams to drive seamless end-to-end implementation guided by domain insights.
• Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of projects for P&C insurance platforms, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business goals.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, and execution timelines.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets and cost-efficiency, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and deliver status reports, risk dashboards, and executive updates to senior management and business sponsors.
• Facilitate change management initiatives and support smooth transitions during system/process implementations.
• Promote collaboration, resolve conflicts, and foster a high-performance team culture.
