Position Purpose:

The Guest Liaison role is dedicated to fulfilling various responsibilities aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience during their stay at the Inns of Aurora. This position reports to the Director of Rooms and works closely with several departments.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Welcome all guests to Aurora with a friendly disposition
  • Regular walk through of houses to provide guest support
  • Tidy common areas to include dishes and take out trash
  • Check lighting, music and overall ambiance
  • On-call for daily guest's needs (tv not working, key broken, need ice, etc.)
  • Elevator support when needed
  • Restock daily house items in individual guest refrigerators AND common area pantries
  • Place daily welcome cards and package items in guest rooms
  • Deliver products and guest request items between properties
  • Transport guests to resort locations on demand in our electric vehicles
    • Maintain cleanliness, maintenance requirements, and charging of vehicle
  • Assist with luggage to guest rooms and room orientation for guests
  • Support check-in process at multiple properties and be fully cross trained in front desk operations
  • Provide directions and planning information to guests
  • Check condition and maintain cleanliness of watercraft and bicycles
      • Lock and unlock boats daily, in season
      • Lock and unlock bikes daily, in season
      • Reset lawn furniture, ensure cleanliness and dry for guest use, in season
    • Self-direct to support housekeeping and maintenance including, but not limited to outdoor dusting, window cleaning, snow removal, turn down service, or other auxiliary needs
    • Light firepits or turn off firepits upon request
    • Other duties as assigned
